Genneper Parken is a nature, sports and recreation area in the south of Eindhoven. It is named after the neighbourhood of Gennep and is one of the largest parks in the Netherlands. You buy a unique code for the Walking Tour in the Genneper Parken. This code can be used once and is valid for a maximum of 4 months after purchase. One code is therefore valid for 1 walk. But of course you can walk with 2 or 4 persons on one app.
Determine the number of tickets “in shopping cart”. Then go to your shopping cart on the top right. Check the product and number of tickets again and press “continue to checkout”. Fill in your details and pay via iDEAL. After your payment you will automatically receive the ticket(s) in your mailbox. Please also look at your spam box
Optional stops on the way:
- Drink, snack, ice cream at a cafeteria or the Paviljoen Genneper Parken (if open) and/or;
- Own picnic in the city park.
- Option: visit High Tech Campus. This site can only be entered at working days. In the weekend the gates are unfortunately closed. So if you plan your trip during the week, a visit to the High Tech Campus is definitely worthwhile (you walk to ‘the strip’ where several catering establishments are also located.
The tour itself is about 6 km. long and with normal road traffic (and without the assignments and stops) it will take you about 1.5 hours. Take into account about 2.5 to 3 hours of walking, excluding any stops. During the RIVM measures a toilet stop on the way may be difficult, so keep this in mind!
